Stone Cold Steve Austin’s 101K-Mile 1987 Toyota PickupNO RESERVE
Overview
Description
There are Low Miles No Miles trucks...and then there are the ones that remind you why the Toyota Pickup became a legend in the first place. This 1987 Toyota Pickup falls perfectly into that category, showing 101,451 miles and representing the kind of honest, rust-free survivor that's getting nearly impossible to find today.
Vehicle Overview
Finished in beige over a tan interior, this 1987 Toyota Pickup is powered by its original 22R inline-four paired with a 5 speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows 101,451 miles.
Known for their durability and simplicity, Toyota Pickups of this era earned a reputation for running virtually forever. This example remains largely original throughout, with tasteful upgrades including a Weber carburetor and a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo system. The truck retains its original paint and presents as an honest California survivor.
Recent servicing includes a complete fluid service and extensive sorting by the seller's longtime mechanic. The air conditioning blows cold, all systems are reported to function properly, and the truck is described as ready to be driven and enjoyed immediately.
Story
This truck comes to us from none other than Steve Austin.
Yes, that Steve Austin.
Steve has been a supporter of the LMNM community and one of those guys we've always enjoyed seeing lurking around the socials, following along with the cars, trucks, and stories that make this hobby great. Last year, we had the opportunity to help Steve sell his Bronco to another LMNM member, and it turned into one of those transactions that reminds us why this community is special.
A lifelong California truck, this Toyota spent roughly 14 years parked before Steve acquired it about two years ago. While it was already a solid truck when it arrived, Steve made sure it received the attention it deserved. The truck was thoroughly gone through, serviced, tuned, and sorted by a trusted mechanic to ensure it ran and drove exactly as it should.
Since then, Steve has added approximately 1,500 miles while enjoying the truck the way Toyota intended.
Condition
This Toyota presents as a very original and honest survivor. The original paint remains throughout, giving the truck a level of authenticity that restored examples simply cannot replicate.
The seller notes two small dents on the rear corners, light patina on the passenger side of the hood, and minor surface rust on the windshield wiper arms. These imperfections are documented in the gallery.
Mechanically, the truck is reported to have no known issues. All fluids have been changed within the last six months, the truck has been fully tuned and dialed in, and the air conditioning blows cold.
Overall, this is a highly usable, rust-free California survivor that offers the simplicity, reliability, and charm that made these Toyota pickups legendary.

Letter From The LMNM Team
This one is cool for a lot of reasons.
First, it's a Toyota Pickup. And if you've spent any time around trucks, you already know what that means. The 22R trucks earned their reputation the old-fashioned way by simply refusing to quit.
But what makes this one special is the story.
We've gotten to know Steve through LMNM, and he's exactly the kind of enthusiast this community was built around.
When we helped him sell his Bronco to another LMNM member, it turned into one of those stories where everybody walked away happy. Those are our favorite kinds.
And honestly, this truck feels a lot like Steve. No nonsense. Honest. Unpretentious. Just a solid ass pickup that does exactly what it's supposed to do.
The paint isn't perfect. The truck isn't over-restored. It hasn't been turned into something it's not.
It's simply a great Toyota Pickup.
If you've been looking for an honest Toyota Pickup that's been sorted, preserved, this one checks all the boxes.
And if you need another reason to bid...
Well, that's the bottom line. Because Stone Cold Steve Austin said so.
