Description

There are Low Miles No Miles cars...and then there are the ones that make you stop and ask yourself how they even still exist. This 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 Brickyard 400 Pace Car falls squarely into that category, showing just 935 miles and standing as one of the finest surviving examples of Chevrolet's mid-90s NASCAR-inspired coupe.

Vehicle Overview

Finished in white with factory gold and purple Brickyard 400 graphics over an exclusive tan leather interior, this 1995 Monte Carlo Z34 is powered by its original 3.4-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 producing 210 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows just 935 miles.

The Z34 represented the pinnacle of Monte Carlo performance in 1995, combining aggressive styling with one of General Motors' most advanced V6 engines of the era. This particular example remains completely stock throughout, retaining its original paint, drivetrain, interior, and factory presentation.

The exclusive leather interior was unique to this W-Body Pace Car and was not available in any other Monte Carlo.

Included with the sale are the original window stickers, remarkably, neither was ever affixed to the car, as well as the optional factory CD changer, extensive documentation, Brickyard 400 memorabilia, personalized California "FRST 400" license plates, and numerous original items collected throughout the car's life.

Story

This wasn't simply a low-mile car that happened to survive.

It was intentionally preserved from day one.

The inaugural Brickyard 400 was one of the biggest moments in NASCAR history, and the original owners, Mr. and Mrs. Armbrust, embraced everything about it. Passionate NASCAR fans, they carefully preserved this Monte Carlo in a climate-controlled garage from new, protecting the paint, leather, rubber, plastics, and trim from the effects of sunlight, humidity, and age.

The car became much more than transportation, it became part of the family.

According to the current owner, Mr. Armbrust cherished the Monte Carlo so deeply that it ultimately led his funeral procession. He was laid to rest wearing a Dale Earnhardt team jacket that had been personally given to him by Earnhardt himself.

That story alone says everything you need to know about what this car meant to its original owners.

Their passion extended well beyond this Monte Carlo. At the time of Mr. Armbrust's passing, the family estate reportedly included approximately one hundred former NASCAR race cars. This Monte Carlo was the final piece of the collection to leave the estate, eventually passing to the Armbrust children before being purchased by the current owner, making this a three-owner vehicle from new.

Originally intending to use the Monte Carlo as a regular driver, the current owner quickly realized this survivor deserved continued preservation instead.

Condition

As expected for a sub-1,000-mile example, this Monte Carlo presents at an extraordinarily high level throughout.

Having spent its life inside a climate-controlled garage, the original leather, rubber weatherstripping, plastics, carpeting, trim, and finishes remain exceptionally well preserved. The car still exhibits the freshness and feel of a vehicle only a few years old rather than one approaching its fourth decade.

The seller reports no rust, no mechanical issues, and no significant cosmetic flaws. Original paint remains throughout.

To preserve the original Goodyear tires, a new set of premium Michelin tires was installed approximately one year ago. The original factory tires, showing approximately 150 miles of use, accompany the sale.

Recent maintenance includes Mobil 1 synthetic oil service, routine inspections, and careful exercise to keep every mechanical system functioning properly. Additional recent care includes a professional ceramic coating.

The undercarriage remains exceptionally clean and well preserved, further reinforcing the careful stewardship this Monte Carlo has enjoyed throughout its life.

Overall, this is one of the most complete, best-preserved, and best-documented Monte Carlo Z34 Brickyard 400 Pace Cars likely to become available.

Letter From The LMNM Team

This is exactly the kind of car that built Low Miles No Miles.

Not because it's exotic.

Not because it's expensive.

Because it's the kind of survivor that simply shouldn't exist anymore.

A 935-mile Monte Carlo Z34 is already an unbelievable find. Add in the Brickyard 400 Pace Car package, the incredible documentation, the memorabilia, and the story behind its original owners, and suddenly you're looking at something far greater than just another low-mile Chevrolet.

The part that stuck with us most wasn't the mileage.

It was the people.

The Armbrust family didn't simply own this Monte Carlo, they built memories around it. It was cherished enough to lead Mr. Armbrust's funeral procession, a fitting tribute to someone whose love of NASCAR extended so far that he chose to be buried wearing a Dale Earnhardt team jacket personally given to him by Dale himself.

When you learn that their property housed nearly one hundred former NASCAR race cars, it all begins to make sense.

This wasn't just another collectible.

It was part of a lifelong passion.

Cars like this become special because of the people behind them, and this Monte Carlo carries one of the best stories we've had the privilege to tell.

It isn't simply a preserved Z34. It's a preserved piece of one family's NASCAR history.
