13K-Mile 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 4X4
Overview
Description
There are Low Miles No Miles SUVs…and then there are the ones that never really lived the life they were built for. This 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 falls into that category, 13,330 miles shown and presenting as a remarkably preserved example of one of GM’s most durable full-size platforms.
Vehicle Overview
Finished in Medium Charcoal Gray Metallic over a Graphite/Medium Gray cloth interior, this Suburban is powered by its original 5.3L Vortec V8 paired with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows 13,330 miles, and the vehicle remains completely stock and unmodified throughout.
This example retains its factory configuration, supported by original documentation including the window sticker, invoice, manuals, and brochures. The truck also received rust-proofing when new, helping preserve the undercarriage.
Story
This Suburban was originally owned by a single individual before being passed down to a family member. The current seller purchased it in fall 2025 from the nephew of the original owner, at which time it showed just over 12,000 miles.
Since then, approximately 1,200 miles have been added, bringing the total to 13,330 miles today. The vehicle’s history reflects long-term ownership and minimal use, contributing to its preserved condition.
It is accompanied by both sets of original keys and a complete collection of paperwork from new, further supporting its history.
Condition
As expected for a well-preserved example, the truck presents in extremely clean condition throughout. The exterior shows no history of paintwork or body damage, and no rust is reported beyond light surface oxidation on typical undercarriage components.
The interior remains in excellent condition, with minimal wear consistent with the miles shown.
Mechanically, the vehicle is reported to run and drive as it should, with no known issues. A full service, including an oil change and multi-point inspection, was completed in September 2025 prior to the current owner’s purchase.
One noted item is the absence of the third-row seat, which was removed by the original owner and placed into storage. Its current whereabouts are unknown.

Letter From The LMNM Team
This is one of those trucks that hits home for us.
We’re huge fans of the GMT800 platform in the office. Every time one gets posted in the group especially a clean one that’s not even for sale the comment sections are full of people asking the owner to sell it. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how these trucks are viewed today.
Now take that, and add 13k miles shown.
That’s what makes this one different. Most of these were used exactly how they were built to be used family trips, towing, daily driving, piling on miles year after year. Finding one that never really went through that cycle is getting harder and harder.
This is the kind of Suburban that gives you a glimpse into what these trucks felt like when they were new. Simple, durable, and untouched. It’s not something we see often and it’s exactly the kind of vehicle that fits what LMNM is all about.
