Description

There are Low Miles No Miles trucks...and then there are the oddly optioned, unusually low mileage trucks that make us stop scrolling.

This 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT 4x4 is absolutely one of those trucks.

A regular cab. Short box. V8. Four-wheel drive. Just 28,000 miles. Original paint. And to top it all off, it was special ordered in rare Woodland Green.

Add a mild lift/level, AEM cold-air intake, cat-back exhaust, and Vision American Muscle Torq Thrust-style wheels, and this thing has exactly the right look without getting carried away.

Vehicle Overview

Finished in Woodland Green over a Gray interior, this 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 WT is powered by its original 4.8-liter Vortec V8 paired with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.

The odometer currently shows just 28,000 miles.

More importantly, look at the configuration.

Regular cab.

Short box.

V8.

4x4.

It's a simple combination, but finding one today with this kind of mileage and is anything but simple.

The unusual special-order color gives an otherwise straightforward Work Truck an entirely different personality, while the truck retains its original paint and is reported to be rust-free body with no known mechanical issues.

Story

Sometimes the coolest trucks aren't the ones loaded with every available option.

They're the weird ones.

Someone ordered a basic WT regular-cab short-box Silverado, checked the box for a V8 and four-wheel drive, and then chose a color you're probably not going to see parked next to it at the gas station.

That's our kind of truck.

The current owner acquired it less than a year ago and has added approximately 1,000 miles during that time. While little documentation from its earlier life accompanies the truck, its condition and remarkably low mileage tell much of the story.

This wasn't a 150,000-mile work truck brought back to life.

At only 28,000 miles, it's a configuration that has become surprisingly difficult to duplicate.

Condition

The exterior retains its original paint and presents exceptionally well for a 2013 pickup.

The seller reports no body rust, no known mechanical issues, and an accurate odometer reading of approximately 28,000 miles.

The seller also noted there is some small dings along front passenger side fender also a scratch on that fender that carries into the headlight. Some other minor scrapes.

Inside, the Gray interior reflects the simple, durable nature of the WT trim and shows to be in very clean condition.

The underside was previously treated with a protective undercoating. In several areas, portions of that coating have begun to flake with age, revealing some surface corrosion and rust-colored oxidation underneath. Based on what is visible, this appears to be age-related surface corrosion rather than significant structural rust and undercarriage photos are included in the gallery so bidders can evaluate it for themselves.

An oil change was completed at approximately 27,700 miles.

The truck has received a few tasteful changes, including a lift/level, AEM cold-air intake, cat-back exhaust, and Vision American Muscle Torq Thrust-style wheels.

The result is a truck that has some attitude without losing the simple factory formula that makes it appealing in the first place.

Letter From The LMNM Team

Okay, this one is just cool.

Not because it's the highest-option Silverado ever built.

Quite the opposite.

It's a WT.

Regular cab.

Short box.

V8.

4x4.

That's the recipe.

Then somebody decided a normal Silverado color wasn't good enough and special ordered the thing in Woodland Green.

Now we're talking.

At only 28,000 miles, with original paint and no body rust reported, it already checks the boxes we look for. But it's that combination of a basic Work Truck, short bed, V8, four-wheel drive and a genuinely unusual factory color that makes this one stand out.

And we think the modifications fit it perfectly.

The slight lift, Vision wheels, AEM intake, and cat-back exhaust give it some attitude without turning it into something it's not. It still looks like a clean, simple GMT900 just one that sits right and sounds a little better doing it.

There's also something about these late GMT900 trucks that's beginning to hit differently.

They're old enough now that the clean ones are disappearing, but new enough that most people haven't started thinking about preserving them yet.

And pickup trucks?

Those were usually bought to be used.

They worked.

They hauled.

They got driven through winters.

They got dented, rusty, modified and eventually used up.

This one didn't.

It's weird.

It's simple.

It's low-mile.

And it's one hell of a good-looking truck.

Sometimes that's all we need.
