Description

There are Low Miles No Miles cars…and then there are modern muscle cars that were kept the way enthusiasts always hoped they would be. This 2005 Pontiac GTO falls into that category, showing just 2,155 miles and standing as a well-preserved example of the LS2-powered era.

Vehicle Overview

Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over a black interior, this GTO is powered by its original 6.0L LS2 V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows 2,155 miles.

This example is one of just 566 produced in this color and configuration, making it a relatively rare spec among 2005 GTOs. It retains its factory 17-inch wheels and remains largely stock, with only minor, enthusiast-focused upgrades.

Upgrades include a stainless works header system with catalytic converters, a Magnaflow exhaust, and an LSX intake. The original intake is included with the sale, and all modifications were performed with an emphasis on sound and drivability rather than performance abuse.

Story

This GTO has remained within one family since new, owned by a brother and sister who maintained it as a collector vehicle. Its life reflects careful ownership and climate-controlled storage, contributing to its overall preservation.

The current selling dealer has added only minimal mileage since acquiring the car.

Unlike many GTOs that were modified heavily or driven hard, this example was kept with restraint enjoyed occasionally, but was treated like a collector car, and never abused.

Condition

As expected for a low-mile example, the car presents cleanly throughout. The exterior retains its original paint with no reported history of bodywork, while the interior shows minimal wear consistent with the miles shown.

The vehicle is reported to be free of rust and runs and drives as it should. It remains mechanically sound, with modifications limited to bolt-on components that enhance the overall driving experience without altering the car’s core character.

The overall condition reflects a car that has been cared for long-term rather than used heavily.

Letter From The LMNM Team

This is one we really like.

The 2005–2006 GTOs have built a strong following over the years, and for good reason. You get a simple, rear-wheel-drive platform with an LS2 and a manual no gimmicks, just a really solid driving car.

What stood out to us here is how this one was treated. It wasn’t left completely untouched, but the upgrades that were done make sense. Headers, exhaust, intake all focused on sound and experience, not turning it into something heavily modified.

And the sound is exactly what you’d hope for.

On top of that, the one-family ownership and the way it’s been stored really show. Most of these didn’t live this kind of life, and finding one that still feels like this is getting harder to come by.

It’s the kind of car you can appreciate as a collector piece, but still enjoy in a way that makes owning it fun.
