Description

There are Low Miles No Miles cars…and then there are police cars that somehow avoided being used and abused. This 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor is one of those rare exceptions, 1,890 miles shown and standing as a remarkably preserved example of Ford’s Panther platform.

Vehicle Overview

Finished in white over a black interior, this Crown Victoria Police Interceptor is powered by its original 4.6L SOHC V8 paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows 1,890 miles.

Equipped with the factory P71 police package, this car retains the heavy-duty components that made these vehicles so well known upgraded cooling, suspension, and braking systems designed for durability and long-term use. Today, the platform has become known for its simplicity, reliability, and ability to take on serious mileage when used as intended.

Story

This example tells a very different story.

Originally designated as a Police Interceptor, this Crown Victoria is a two-owner car that appears to have never been placed into active duty. Rather than being put into service, it seems to have been preserved early in its life, which is reflected in both its mileage shown and overall presentation.

The current selling dealer has added only a handful of miles during ownership.

Condition

What stands out immediately with this car is how it presents as a whole.

The exterior retains its original Performance White paint with no reported history of bodywork, and the interior remains clean and well-kept with minimal signs of use. Even underneath, the car shows no rust and presents in a way that’s consistent with a vehicle that has seen very little time on the road.

Mechanically, the car is reported to run and drive exactly as it should, with no known issues. A recent oil change was completed in April 2026. All major systems are said to function properly, though it is not confirmed whether any original police lighting equipment remains operational.

Letter From The LMNM Team

This one was a really cool experience for us.

We actually had the chance to bring this car in-house and create content around it, and getting up close with it gave us a completely different perspective on these cars. Most people have been around Crown Victoria's but almost nobody has been around one that feels like this.

We’re big fans of the Panther platform, and this just reinforced why. These cars were built to take a beating and rack up miles without complaint but this one never really got that chance.

Instead, it was kept in a way that lets you experience what these cars felt like when they were new. The way it presents, the way everything feels it’s just different.

It’s not often you come across something like this, especially in a platform that was almost always used the opposite way.
