39K-Mile 2004 Dodge Neon ES
Overview
Description
There are Low Miles No Miles cars…and then there are the cars nobody ever thought to keep. This 2004 Dodge Neon ES falls into that category, showing just 39,747 miles and standing as a well-preserved example of a platform that was almost always driven, used up, and forgotten.
Vehicle Overview
Finished in Stone White over a Taupe interior, this Neon ES is powered by its original 2.0L inline-four paired with an automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows 39,747 miles, and the car remains original with the exception of aftermarket aluminum wheels, a trailer hitch and aftermarket stereo with upgraded speakers.
This example retains its original paint and body panels, and it presents as a clean and honest version of the platform.
Story
This Neon spent its life with a single elderly owner before being acquired through an estate sale. That kind of ownership is exactly what allowed a car like this to survive.
The current owner has added less than 500 miles during ownership, continuing the trend of limited use.
Most Neons didn’t get this kind of story. They were daily drivers, first cars, winter beaters used exactly how they were meant to be. This one wasn’t.
Condition
As expected for a well-kept example, the car presents cleanly throughout. The exterior retains its original paint with no reported history of bodywork. Documented in the media gallery are any scuffs, scratches or dings in the body. The interior shows minimal wear consistent with the miles shown.
The vehicle is reported to be rust-free and has no known mechanical issues. It runs and drives as it should.
Recent maintenance prior to current ownership included an oil change and spark plug replacement.
Overall, this is a clean, preserved example of a car that was never meant to last like this.

Letter From The LMNM Team
This one hits a little different for us.
A lot of people overlook cars like this but honestly, this is where Low Miles No Miles started. One of the cars that really helped build our brand was a 1997 Neon coupe in magenta with just 3,900 miles. It absolutely took off online and played a huge role in growing our Facebook group in the early days.
So yeah…we’ve got a soft spot for these.
These were throwaway cars. They weren’t meant to be saved, and that’s exactly why finding one like this is so cool today. Most of them are long gone, used up and forgotten.
This one wasn’t.
It’s clean, it’s honest, and it’s exactly what it’s supposed to be. And if you know, you know.
Hi.
