7K-Mile 2000 Toyota Celsior C Type
Overview
Description
There are Low Miles No Miles cars…and then there are Japanese luxury cars that feel like they've been frozen in time. This 2000 Toyota Celsior C Type falls into that category, showing just 7,766 miles and presenting as an exceptionally preserved example of Toyota's flagship luxury sedan.
Vehicle Overview
Finished in green over a beige interior, this Toyota Celsior C Type is powered by its original 4.3L 3UZ-FE V8 paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows just 7,766 miles, and the car remains 100% stock and original throughout.
For those unfamiliar, the Celsior was Toyota's flagship luxury sedan in Japan and served as the foundation for what Americans would know as the Lexus LS430. Built during an era when Toyota seemed determined to out-engineer everyone, the Celsior became known for its refinement, build quality, comfort, and near-silent operation.
This example remains remarkably original, with original paint throughout and even some interior components still wearing their factory protective plastic coverings.
Story
According to the seller, the car was imported from Japan and is accompanied by its Japanese auction sheet documenting its history prior to importation.
The current selling dealer has added approximately 30 miles during ownership. With fewer than 8,000 miles shown, this Celsior represents a rare opportunity to experience one of Toyota's finest luxury sedans in nearly showroom-condition form.
While LS430s have earned a legendary reputation for durability and comfort, finding one, or its Japanese-market counterpart with mileage this low is extraordinarily uncommon.
Condition
As expected for a low-mile example, the car presents exceptionally well throughout. The exterior retains its original paint and the interior remains highly preserved, highlighted by factory plastic coverings still present on select trim pieces.
The vehicle is reported to have no known mechanical issues and remains completely stock. The seller notes the factory touchscreen display shows some cloudiness and the keyless entry system may require programming.
No rust is reported.
Overall, this is an exceptionally preserved example of Toyota's flagship luxury sedan and a fascinating piece of JDM luxury history.

Letter From The LMNM Team
This is exactly the kind of car that sneaks up on you.
At first glance, it's just a clean luxury sedan. Then you realize it's a Celsior. Then you realize it has less than 8,000 miles. Then you start looking closer.
Toyota was at the absolute top of its game when these cars were built. The doors close with that bank-vault feel, the V8 is whisper quiet, and everything about the car feels over-engineered in the best possible way.
We love muscle cars, trucks, and all the loud stuff but every once in a while something like this comes through and reminds us that luxury cars can be just as impressive.
The fact that some of the interior pieces are still wearing factory plastic tells you everything you need to know about how this car has been preserved.
It's not flashy. it's not loud. It's just one of the best luxury sedans Toyota ever built, preserved in a condition you almost never see anymore.
