655-Mile 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
Overview
Description
There are Low Miles No Miles Corvettes…and then there are the ones that stop you in your tracks from across the room. This 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 falls firmly into that category, showing just 655 miles and finished in one of the rarest and most eye-catching color combinations available on America's original supercar.
Vehicle Overview
Finished in Competition Yellow over a black leather interior, this 1991 Corvette ZR-1 is powered by its original 5.7-liter LT5 DOHC V8 producing 375 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows just 655 miles.
Nicknamed the "King of the Hill," the ZR-1 represented the pinnacle of Corvette performance in the early 1990s. Developed alongside Lotus and powered by the legendary LT5 engine assembled by Mercury Marine, the ZR-1 delivered exotic-car technology and world-class performance unlike anything else wearing a Chevrolet badge at the time.
What makes this example particularly special is its rarity. According to the seller, this is one of only 42 Competition Yellow ZR-1s produced for the 1991 model year.
The vehicle remains 100% stock and original throughout.
Story
According to the seller, this ZR-1 has remained with its original owner since new and has spent its life carefully preserved rather than regularly driven.
The result is a remarkably original example that has accumulated just 655 miles over the course of more than three decades.
Unlike many performance cars that eventually see modifications, upgrades, or extensive use, this ZR-1 remains exactly as Chevrolet intended, preserving the experience of what was once the most advanced Corvette ever built.
Condition
As expected for an ultra-low-mile example, the car presents exceptionally well throughout.
The exterior retains its original paint with no reported history of bodywork, while the interior remains highly preserved and reflective of the vehicle's limited use.
The car is reported to be completely rust-free with no known mechanical issues. In 2025, the fuel system was serviced, including a fuel pump replacement, injector service, battery replacement, and related fuel system maintenance to ensure proper operation.
Overall, this is an exceptionally original and highly preserved ZR-1 that represents one of the rarest color combinations available on Chevrolet's flagship performance car.

Letter From The LMNM Team
The black ZR-1 is the stealth fighter.
This one is the opposite.
If Chevrolet built the ZR-1 to prove a Corvette could compete with the world's best performance cars, Competition Yellow was the color that made sure everyone noticed.
And honestly, that's what we love about this car.
The LT5 engine, the wide rear quarters, the massive tires, the unique rear fascia, none of it is subtle. Then you finish it in one of the rarest colors available and suddenly you have something that feels more exotic than muscle car.
Only 42 yellow ZR-1s were produced for 1991.
Forty-two.
That's an incredibly small number for a car that already sits near the top of the Corvette hierarchy.
What stands out most, though, is the mileage. At just 655 miles, this car still feels like a preserved snapshot of the era when the ZR-1 was America's answer to the world's best sports cars.
Some cars blend into collections.
This one becomes the centerpiece.
