Description

There are Low Miles No Miles trucks...and then there are pre-emissions diesels that enthusiasts refuse to stop talking about. This 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LBZ falls into that category, showing just 9,375 miles and representing one of the most desirable Duramax platforms ever built.

Vehicle Overview

Finished in Silver Birch Metallic over a tan interior, this 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT is powered by its original 6.6-liter LBZ Duramax turbo diesel V8 paired with an Allison automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows just 9,375 miles.

A handful of tasteful upgrades have been added to complement rather than change its character. These include a 6-inch King dual reservoir suspension system, 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires mounted on 17-inch Method wheels, a Banks Air Ram intake system, a 5-inch Magnaflow exhaust, and a Line-X bedliner.

The result is a truck that looks exactly how enthusiasts would have built one in 2007 if money wasn't part of the conversation.

Story

According to the seller, this Silverado spent part of its life as a featured SEMA truck under previous ownership in Montana before eventually being purchased through Gateway Car Connection and relocated to Florida approximately four years ago.

Despite the upgrades and high-quality presentation, this truck has lived an incredibly easy life. The current owner has added just 250 miles during four years of ownership, continuing the trend of preservation rather than use.

For diesel enthusiasts, the LBZ occupies a special place in truck history. Produced for a very short time, without diesel particulate filters, DEF systems, or modern emissions equipment, these trucks quickly earned a reputation for reliability, performance, and simplicity that continues to drive demand nearly two decades later. Not to mention being a part of the GMT800 platform that already holds major street credit among GM truck lovers.

Finding an LBZ is one thing.

Finding one with fewer than 10,000 miles is something else entirely.

Condition

As expected for a low-mile example, the truck presents exceptionally well throughout. The exterior retains its original paint and the interior remains highly original, reflecting the truck's limited use and careful ownership history.

The seller reports no known mechanical issues and notes complete service records are available. Recently, the truck received fluid services including the engine oil, transmission, and both differentials.

The truck is reported to be rust free.

One scratch on the very front of the hood about 3" long is noted and documented in the gallery photos. The scratch has been treated so it doesn't rust.

Overall, this is an exceptionally kept and thoughtfully upgraded example of one of the most desirable diesel pickups ever built.

Letter From The LMNM Team

The LBZ doesn't need an introduction.

If you've spent any time around diesel trucks, you already know.

Pre-emissions. Allison transmission. No DEF. No DPF. Just a Duramax and an Allison doing what they do best.

For a lot of enthusiasts, the LBZ is the sweet spot of Duramax ownership and arguably the high-water mark of GM diesel trucks.

What makes this truck special though isn't just the engine, it's the mileage.

Less than 10,000 miles.

King suspension.

37s on Methods.

A former SEMA truck that somehow avoided becoming overdone.

It sits exactly right. It looks exactly right.

Most LBZs spent their lives towing, hauling, working, or accumulating hundreds of thousands of miles.

This one took a very different path. And honestly, we're pretty glad it did.
